What's new

Changes to noine, newest first

Trim preview now matches what you save

  • Fixed Previewing a trim in the editor now plays exactly the audio that will be saved. Before this fix, certain files (especially recorded clips) could preview slightly differently to how they saved, leaving the saved clip cut more aggressively than expected.

Our privacy policy

What noine keeps, who handles it, and how to delete it, in plain words.

  • New There's now a Privacy page, linked from the footer and from sign up. It says what noine collects, which companies help run it, how long things are kept, and how to delete your account or ask us a question.

Feels more like an app

A launch screen, and no more highlighting text by accident.

  • New Opening noine from your iPhone Home Screen now shows the noine logo, in light or dark to match your phone, instead of a blank screen. If you added noine earlier, remove it and add it again to get it.
  • Better Pressing and holding or dragging across the app no longer highlights text. You can still select it where you'd copy it: in fields, in messages, and on the About and What's new pages.
  • Fixed Pressing and holding a clip no longer taps whatever button is under your thumb when you let go. The options stay open until you choose something.

A new look, built for sending

Find a clip, hear it, and send it in a tap or two.

  • New A tab bar and a player that stays with you while you browse.
  • New Long-press (or right-click) any clip to copy its link, favorite it, add it to a library, edit it or report it.
  • New Add noine to your iPhone Home Screen to use it like an app.
  • Better Search results show the matching quote when you search for something said in a clip.
  • Better Your favorites and recently sent clips are one tap away on the home screen.
  • Better Recording and trimming were rebuilt: tap to record with a live waveform, silence is trimmed for you (with Undo), and the trim handles are bigger.
  • Better Dark and light themes look right on every page.
  • Fixed Deleting your account now works, and it removes your clips' audio files too.
